HARRISON, N.J. (April 26, 2025) – New York Red Bulls Academy midfielder Paul Sokoloff and defender Astin Mbaye invited to U-16 USYNT training camp.
Sokoloff made seven appearances for the U-15 USYNT and has scored three goals. The Brooklyn, NY native made his debut on November 30, 2023, in a 2-1 victory over Portugal U-15. His most notable performance with the U-15s was his two-goal match in a 4-2 win over Morocco U-15 on May 17, 2024. The midfielder also has two appearances for the U-16 USYNT. He scored the tying goal in a 1-1 draw against Mexico U-16 on November 18, 2024.
Mbaye has made six appearances with the U-15 USYNT. The defender made his debut on November 30, 2023, in a 2-1 win over Portugal U-15. He scored his first career international goal against Scotland U-15 on December 5, 2023.
Both players were a part of the 2024 U-15 USYNT Vlatko Markovic Tournament winning team. Sokoloff captained the side.
Sokoloff and Mbaye will join a 24-player pool in a week-long training camp from April 27-May 4 at McCurry Park South in Fayetteville, Georgia.
