HARRISON, N.J. (May 15, 2025) – New York Red Bulls Academy midfielder Paul Sokoloff has been called to U-16 USYNT from May 17 to May 27 ahead of friendlies against Argentina and Uruguay.
The midfielder has made seven appearances for the U-15 USYNT and has scored three goals. The Brooklyn, N.Y. native made his debut on November 30, 2023, in a 2-1 victory over U-15 Portugal. His most notable performance with the U-15s was his two-goal match in a 4-2 win over U-15 Morocco on May 17, 2024. The midfielder also has two appearances for the U-16 USYNT. He scored the tying goal in a 1-1 draw against Mexico U-16 on November 18, 2024.
The midfielder captained the 2024 U-15 USYNT Vlatko Markovic Tournament winning team.
Sokoloff last joined the U-16 USYNT from April 27 to May 4 at McCurry Park South in Fayetteville, Georgia for a weeklong training camp.
The U-16 USYNT will face U-16 Argentina in Buenos Aires on Thursday, May 22. After, the group will travel to Montevideo, Uruguay to play U-16 Uruguay on Tuesday May 27.
