·       The New York Red Bulls fell to the Philadelphia Union, 3-0 on Saturday night at Talen Energy Stadium in Chester, Pa. C.J. Sapong recorded a hat trick for the home side.


·       The Red Bulls are now 5-5-1 on the season.


·       The game was scoreless into the 75th minute, until Sapong capitalized on a loose ball in the Red Bulls’ defensive third and beat Luis Robles to put the Union up 1-0. Sapong followed up with goals in the 81st and 85th minutes, completing the hat trick on a penalty.


·       Mike Grella returned to the lineup for the first time since a March 19th match against Seattle, and entered the game as a second-half sub.
