HARRISON, N.J. (August 28, 2026) - The Red Bulls Academy Announce New Partnership with Working with Parents in Sport, the club announced today.
The partnership will see a full program of live sessions delivered to parents across different age groups throughout the coming weeks, including:
- Great Sports Parenting — The Early Stages of the Academy Journey
- Sports Performance Parenting — Introduction
- From the Sidelines to the Stands — staying helpful as it gets harder
Alongside the live sessions, academy parents have been given access to a customized WWPIS/Red Bull New York digital platform, providing unlimited access to more than 500 pieces of content designed to help them support their children in fulfilling their potential, both on and off the field. Club staff have also been equipped with a dedicated social media pack to help share and distribute this content across the academy's channels.
"This is yet another exciting partnership, and another world-leading brand working alongside us here at WWPIS," said Gordon MacLelland, CEO of WWPIS. "It has been a real privilege spending time at the new facility and meeting staff, parents and players. This is just the start, and we're looking forward to working with the club moving forward to further enhance the provision in this space."
“This is something that we’ve been looking to drive here at the academy, more parent workshops, supporting our parents along the academy journey is vital. Often parents just want to be reassured that they are supporting in the right that aids high performance,” says Chase Hill, RBNY Senior Player Care Manager. "What's been great about this week is it got parents talking about some of challenges and shared commonalities they face as an academy parent. If they can add a few tools into the toolbox from WWPIS then everyone benefits. When speaking to parents, the biggest takeaway for them have been the awareness of how and when to have those difficult conversations.”
“The parent education piece is really important for us, when all stakeholders join the dots up that is where we see boys thrive in their development,” said Paul Nash, RBNY Youth Development Phase Lead. “WWPIS just reinforces our messages to parents and having that alignment from a neutral voice is key.”
The partnership marks the latest step in WWPIS's continued work with elite academy programs across the world, bringing structured education and ongoing digital support directly to the parents shaping the next generation of athletes at one of MLS's leading academies.
