Red Bulls – Atlanta United Match Picked Up by FS1 and FOX Deportes

HARRISON, N.J. (Wednesday, October 13, 2021) – Major League Soccer announced today flex scheduling updates for MLS Week 34, including the Red Bulls – Atlanta United match at Red Bull Arena moving to FS1 and FOX Deportes. Kickoff will remain at 7:30 p.m. ET. Both teams are aiming to move above the playoff line for a chance to compete in the Audi 2021 MLS Cup Playoffs.

The Red Bulls currently sit in ninth place, two points behind Atlanta in the Eastern Conference standings, with six games to play, both of which are just one and three points, respectively, below the playoff line. In the revamped MLS Cup Playoff format, the fourth-place team will host a home playoff match in the single-elimination bracket. Atlanta sits just three points back of fourth, while New York is just five points back.

New York is unbeaten in their last six matches, going 4-0-2 and allowing just two goals during the stretch. The Red Bulls are looking to secure a 12th consecutive postseason appearance. Their 11-straight playoff appearance streak is the longest streak of any New York metro area sports team, and is the second longest active streak in Major League Soccer.
