Red Bulls Present Among National Hall of Fame Finalists

The National Hall of Fame at Toyota Field announced today the finalists for election to the Class of 2021, and among them are former players Thierry Henry, Clint Mathis and Kevin Hartman. Also our very own Shep Messing, who alongside Steve Cangialosi and Michelle Gingras call our games on MSG, is among the finalists.


Twenty names are on the Player ballot, while there are ten apiece on the Veteran Ballot and Builder ballots.


Henry and Hartman are on the Player ballot, while Mathis and Messing are on the Veteran ballot. 


Mathis played 110 games for our club across all competitions, scoring 45 goals and grabbing 26 assists. Henry played 135 games across all competitions, netting 52 goals and grabbing 49 assists. 


The 2021 Class will be announced in March.
