Red Bulls Rally, Win 2-1 Over Revs

BWPBackheel

An early deficit seemed to spur the New York Red Bulls into action and two second-half goals lifted the home side to a 2-1 victory over the visiting New England Revolution Saturday at Red Bull Arena.

Lee Nguyen's penalty had put New England in front in the ninth minute, but the Red Bulls woke up and dominated play after that, finally equalizing on Bradley Wright-Phillips' backheel into an empty net in the 47th minute. Daniel Royer's tap-in of a Kemar Lawrence square pass in the 74th minute proved to be the game-winner.
