Red Bulls waive midfielder Eric Stevenson

HARRISON, NJ (February 13, 2015) – The New York Red Bulls announced today that the club has waived midfielder Eric Stevenson.


"We thank Eric for his service to the club," said Red Bulls Sporting Director Ali Curtis. "We wish him all the best moving forward."


Stevenson was drafted by New York with the 34th overall pick at the 2014 SuperDraft. After impressing in preseason he earned a contract, signing for the team on March 7, 2014. Stevenson made one league appearance on September 20 against Seattle as a second-half substitute. He also made three appearances in the CONCACAF Champions League, and featured in several MLS Reserve League games.
