The next edition of the Atlantic Cup will take place in the Round of 32 of the 2023 U.S. Open Cup.
The two historic rivals met in the Round of 32 of last year's Open Cup, too, where the Red Bulls earned a 3-1 victory at Audi Field. It was one of four victories that New York earned in 2022 on their way to an Open Cup semi-final appearance.
