This will be the second and final matchup this year against Columbus. New York earned a draw in late June on the road, 1-1. The Red Bulls look to extend their unbeaten streak to fifteen games.

Columbus currently sits in eighth place in the Eastern Conference, but they have three games left to play, playing Thursday night before traveling to New York. Their last game was a 3-0 victory at home, against Chicago. Justin Meram, Dilly Duka, and Harrison Afful all scored, while Dilly Duka and Mohammed Saeid (2) assisted.

Columbus plays a very clean game, as they have the fewest fouls committed in MLS. They do, however, commit the most offsides penalties.

Goalie Steve Clark has made the second most saves in the league this season. Their last five games have all been decided by two or more goals, so getting the first goal will be critical for the Red Bulls.

The Crew are 2-9-3 away from home on the season, and they come to Red Bull Arena looking to sneak into the playoffs. New York must prepare for a desperate team that is clinging to its postseason life.

The Red Bulls are coming off a victory in their last MLS game, defeating Philadelphia on October 1. New York will try to pick up where they left off, as they look to extend their unbeaten streak to 15 games.

Bradley Wright-Phillips is currently tied for the Golden Boot, with 21 goals on the season. Sacha Kljestan also sits in first place atop the MLS assist leaders with 17. Luis Robles leads the league in shutouts (10) this season, as well.
