HARRISON, N.J. (Jan. 14, 2026) – The Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) today announced Sports Illustrated Stadium will host the 2026 PLL U.S. Bank Championship, Sept. 18-20, 2026.
“Bringing the PLL Championship back to Sports Illustrated Stadium for a second straight year reflects the standard we’re setting for our biggest moments,” said Paul Rabil, Co-Founder and President of the PLL. “The venue delivers a world-class environment for our athletes and fans, and the response from last year made it clear this is where our season should culminate once again. We’re excited to build on that momentum and crown our 2026 Champion at Sports Illustrated Stadium.”
This marks the second straight year the PLL will hold its Championship at Sports Illustrated Stadium after hosting the 2025 PLL Championship – league’s most watched Championship game in history – where the New York Atlas won their first ever PLL title 14-13 over the Denver Outlaws.
"We're thrilled to have the PLL Championship return to Sports Illustrated Stadium in 2026," Christoph Schoenbeck, Head of Stadium Events at Sports Illustrated Stadium said. “New Jersey is a hotbed for lacrosse at all levels of participation. Last year’s game was incredibly exciting for fans and we expect to keep building on the success.”
Ahead of the 2026 season, the top four PLL teams from the 2025 season, and all four WLL teams will play in the 2026 Championship Series, February 27 - March 8 at The St. James near Washington, D.C. The New York Atlas, Carolina Chaos, Denver Outlaws and California Redwoods, alongside the WLL teams, will compete in the Olympic Sixes game format, set to return lacrosse to the Olympics at the Los Angeles 2028 Summer Games.
