Head Coach Chris Armas will sub in Connor Lade to start Leg 1 of the Eastern Conference Championship on Sunday in Atlanta.
Kemar Lawrence is day-to-day after taking a knock in training.
Lade will play along the back line with Aaron Long, Tim Parker and Michael Amir Murillo.
The Red Bulls took the 2018 regular-season series with an unblemished 2-0 mark and outscoring their opponent, 5-1.
New York will roll with Bradley Wright-Phillips up top and Daniel Royer, Kaku and Alex Muyl leading the attacking midfield. Royer has scored in three of the four matches against Atlanta.
The Austrian winger became the first player in club history to record a brace and an assist in a playoff match. In 80 matches across all competition, Royer has tallied six braces, four in league matches, one in U.S. Open Cup and one in MLS Playoffs
Sean Davis and Tyler Adams will anchor the defensive midfield. Luis Robles will start in goal and captain the side.
Armas will have Cristian Casseres, Jr., Fidel Escobar, Derrick Etienne, Jr., Andreas Ivan, Marc Rzatkowski and Brian White available off the bench. Ryan Meara will serve as the backup goalkeeper.
