STARTING XI, pres. by OANDA: Red Bulls Return to MLS Action vs. Philadelphia Union

Red Bull New York is back in action, taking on the Philadelphia Union on Wednesday evening at Subaru Park.

In the first match of the second half of the season, RBNY will see Julian Hall look to continue his hot start, getting the nod up top for Head Coach Michael Bradley’s squad.

Hall has nine goals on the season. His scoring tally ranks tied for the ninth-most goals scored in the MLS, fifth-most scored in the Eastern Conference, third-most scored by an American player, and the most by a player 25 or younger this season.

Emil Forsberg, captain, starts in the midfield with Cade Cowell and Jorge Ruvalcaba pushing the attack.

Ruvalcaba has scored four goals in his last four MLS appearances, which included a brace in New York’s 2-1 win over Sporting KC on May 23.

Ronald Donkor and Adri Mehmeti look to lock down the central midfield for RBNY.

Ethan Horvath starts in goal, while Justin Che, Matthew Dos Santos, Jahkeele Marshall-Rutty and Dylan Nealis earn starting roles along the backline.

Off the bench, Bradley will have Julian Bazan, Gustav Berggren, Mijahir Jimenez, John McCarthy, Tim Parker, Andy Rojas, Mohammed Sofo, Omar Valencia and Nathan Worth available. Worth and Jimenez both join the squad on short-term call ups from Red Bull New York II.

Coverage on Apple TV begins at 7:30 p.m. ET. Chris Wittyngham will have primary play-by-play responsibilities and will be alongside Lori Lindsey on the English side, while Nacho Garcia will have the play-by-play responsibilities on the Spanish side.

Red Bulls Radio, presented by Sports Illustrated Tickets, begins at 7 p.m. ET with Countdown to Kickoff, presented by Toyota, hosted by Matt Harmon and Steve Jolley.
