After five and a half seasons with the New York Red Bulls, Dax McCarty will be playing for a new MLS club. The club announced on Monday that the Red Bulls captain has been traded to the Chicago Fire.

As we thank the Red Bulls captain for his years of service to the club and its community, take a look back at the club records and accolades from over the years:

  • In his six-season tenure, McCarty has won two Supporters’ Shields, earned three first place finishes in the Eastern Conference and was named to the 2015 MLS All-Star Game and MLS Best XI.
  • With 14,381 minutes played in a Red Bulls uniform, Dax McCarty stands as the club’s all-time minutes leader.
  • McCarty started a club record 163 games since joining the franchise in June 2011.
  • The midfielder finishes his Red Bulls career with 14 goals and 26 assists. The Red Bulls are 78-47-44 in games featuring McCarty.
