Get to know who the Red Bulls will be playing in their upcoming matchup with The Other Side:

How They’re Doing

In the middle of its second season, Charlotte FC sits at 10th in the Eastern Conference with a record of 6-8-4 after finishing last year with an overall record of 13-18-3.

Still, Charlotte is unbeaten in 10 of its last 16 matches since drawing with the Red Bulls at home in March of this year, notably drawing 3-3 with Western-Conference powerhouse Seattle in its last match.

Now set to face the Red Bulls again in New York after an 11-day break, The Crown enters with an away record of 3-5-1.

While Charlotte has scored 25 goals in its 18 matches this year, they have conceded 33, the highest number of goals allowed in the MLS.

Head-to-Head History

New York holds the advantage in its 2-1-1 record with Charlotte.

The series, however, has favored the home side with New York taking both of its wins over Charlotte at home.

Elias Manoel scored all three of New York’s goals in its last two matches against Charlotte, with a brace in October of last year and an equalizing goal in March.

Player to Watch: Forward Enzo Copetti

Since being signed to The Crown in January of this year, Copetti has become a leading forward for Charlotte in his 13 MLS appearances.

With four goals and one assist, Copetti sits at the top of Charlotte’s ranks, second only to Karol Swiderski, who has five.

With a brace against New York City in May, the 27-year-old earned himself Team of the Matchday for Matchday 11.

Although Copetti is relatively new to the MLS and Charlotte, if he is available, his efforts so far have made him one to watch on Wednesday night.
