Coming out to Red Bull Arena this weekend for the Big East tournament? Here are a few notes and tips you might want to consider throughout the weekend.
Shuttle service from Newark Penn Station and the Newark-Broad Station stationwill not be available for either day of the Big East Tournament. Fans may take PATH service from Newark-Penn to Harrison or take taxi service to the arena from either station.
If you are not sure what your best transportation option is, please refer to the Transportation HUB for suggestions. Remember, we are only 25 minutes away from Manhattan!
For those who will be driving to the match, please make sure to park in stadium event parking lots or permitted parking spots in and around the arena. Here are some suggested parking options. Remember, if it has a sign that says “you will get towed,” don’t try your luck – odds are you’ll get towed.
If you’re looking to get your hands on some Big East swag, the official merchandise stand will be situated in section 126. The arena’s normal concession stand will be open in section 126, complete with hot dogs, pretzels, Red Bull, beer and soda. The Bull Shop will also be in business before, during and after the matches for all your Red Bulls gear.
In the event of rain, fans are permitted to bring umbrellas into Red Bull Arena. However, you may not open the umbrellas during the match. We recommend you consider bringing a poncho or other outdoor apparel to protect yourself from the elements throughout the game.
