HARRISON, N.J. (March 30, 2026) – U-15 Red Bulls Academy have advanced to the quarterfinals of the Generations adidas Cup and will face FC Cincinnati on Tuesday, March 31 at 9:30 a.m. ET.Â
The U-15s finished second in Group A going 2-1-0 for six points through three group stage matches. On Day 1, the side fell 1-2 to Atlanta United but responded strongly in the next match earning a strong 4-0 victory over Portland Timbers. On Day 3, New York faced up against Dutch side R.S.C. Anderlecht and needed a victory to advance to the knockout stage. The group stood strong and took a convincing 3-1 win to secure their place into the Round of 16.Â
The side was impressive throughout their group stage run, failing to be held scoreless in any of their three matches. The squad’s eight goals scored were not only the most in Group A but are tied with Valencia CF and Charlotte FC for the most goals scored in the U-15 bracket through the Group Stage.Â
FC Cincinnati finished atop Group I going 2-0-1 for 7 points. In their first two group stage matches, they defeated CT United 3-1 and Nashville SC 2-0. On Day 3, they drew 2-2 to South Korean side Seongnam FC and fell 2-4 in the penalty kick shootout.Â
The winner of the match will face off against the winner FC Bayern Munich and Seattle Sounders FC.
