HARRISON, N.J. (August 22, 2025) – U-15 Red Bulls Academy set to participate in the ISR Elite U-15 Cup 2025 in Zwolle, Netherlands.
The U-15’s had an strong showing at the end of their previous season at the 2025 Metro Cup in June. The team went 2-0-1 through the tournament and defeated NYCFC in the final to earn the 2025 Metro Cup title.
The side was drawn into Group B and will kick off group play on Saturday, August 23. They’ll start off with a matchup against German side VFL Wolfsburg at 5:30 a.m. ET, followed by two matches against Dutch clubs ISR and NAC Breda at 6:30 a.m. ET and 8:45 a.m. ET.
The U-15s will round out the group play against German side Schalke 04 at 12:15 p.m. ET and Danish club Odense BK at 1:45 p.m. ET.
The tournament will then move to a playoff stage on Sunday, August 24, where the top three teams in Group A and Group B will qualify.“This tournament is an important step in our preseason as we prepare for the year ahead. Facing clubs like Schalke and Wolfsburg gives our players a chance to measure themselves against some of the best academies in Europe.” Says Head Coach Jose Jimenez, “We’ve brought a very strong group here, and while preparation is our first priority, we also want to be competitive in every match. Beyond the games, trips like this are about building shared experiences that help shape the team, moments and stories the players will carry with them for life.”
