HARRISON, N.J. (May 2, 2025) – New York Red Bulls Academy U-16s and U-18s to host New England Revolution at Red Bulls Training Facility on Saturday May 3.
The U-16s (7-4-0, 21 pts) currently sit in second place in the MLS NEXT U-16 East (North) Division. They’re coming off a seven-match stand at the 2025 adidas Generations Cup, where the group went 3-2-2 for 12 points, tallying a +2 goal differential. The squad defeated Bayern Munich’s U-16s 2-0.
The U-18s (5-3-3, 18 pts) are in third place in the MLS NEXT U-18 East (North) Division. They’re coming off a strong showing at the 2025 adidas Generations Cup, where the group went 4-1-1 for 14 points. The group was strong defensively only letting up four goals, while they were able to score nine goals. The u-18s most notably defeated Leicester City U-18 in a penalty kick shootout.
Select U-18 players participated in the 2025 Wings Cup in Leipzig, Germany. Goalkeeper Joshua Grant won Wings Cup Impact Goalkeeper Award, while the U-18s drew RB Leipzig’s U-18s 1-1.
New England’s U-16 (5-4-1, 16 pts) sit behind New York in third place in the MLS NEXT U-16 East (North) Division. They last were in action at the 2025 adidas Generations Cup, where they went 4-3-1, most notably defeating VfB Stuttgart 1-0.
The groups U-18s (4-4-2, 14 pts,) are in sixth place in the U-18 East (North) Division. In the 2025 adidas Generations Cup, the U-18s went 3-2-1
The U-18s will kick off the double header at 1:00 p.m. while the U-16s will follow at 3:15 p.m.
Following Saturday’s match, the U-16s and U-18s will host Philadelphia Union Academy at Red Bulls Training Facility on May 17.
