Harrison, N.J. (June 13, 2023) - Voting is open for the 2023 MLS All-Star game presented by Target. Fans can now vote online for who they want to see face off against Arsenal FC on July 19 at Audi Field in Washington, D.C.

New York’s center back Andrès Reyes makes a strong contender for the All-Star Squad.

Over his 46 MLS appearances for the Red Bulls, Reyes has become an essential piece of the New York defensive line, notching 54 clearances and six blocks this season alone.

The Cauca, Colombia native also ranks second in the MLS for interceptions, tallying 41 this season, only two behind Seattle’s Yeimar.

Reyes is also a leader among the Red Bull defenders with 178 duels.

While his efforts on the back line have made him a critical piece of the Red Bull team, Reyes has performed well on the attacking end too, scoring two goals for New York this season.

Garnering league-wide attention, Reyes earned himself Team of the Matchday honors twice.

Reyes was also called up to the Colombia Men’s National Team, making the roster for its match against the U.S. in January 2023.

Since being acquired by the Red Bulls in 2021, Reyes has become a leading defender for the club and within the league, making him one to watch for the 2023 MLS All-Star game.

26 players will be selected for the MLS All-Star squad, including 12 selected by fans, 12 selected by MLS All-Star head coach Wayne Rooney, and two selected by MLS Commissioner Don Garber.
