College: Four-year letterman at UC Davis…Named to the 2015 Big West Conference All-Freshman Team… earned All- Big West Honorable Mention honors in his freshman and sophomore seasons… in 2017 and 2018, he was named to the Big West Conference First Team… He is a two-time Big West Conference Defensive Player of the Year… He made 82 appearances, recording six goals and one assist.

Acquired: The New York Red Bulls selected Roy Boateng (No.16 overall, UC Davis) in the first round of the 2019 MLS SuperDraft. Signed with NYRB II on March 7, 2019.
