Red Bull New York announced today that Juventus FC has confirmed that Italian star Alessandro Del Piero, French forward David Trezeguet and Brazilian midfielder Diego will be among the players in the squad who will travel to the United States for the upcoming friendly against the Red Bulls on Sunday, May 23 at 1:00 PM at Red Bull Arena.

The 27-time Serie A champions are led by Del Piero, who paced Juventus in scoring in 2009-10, scoring nine goals and three assists.  Trezeguet added seven tallies to rank second on the squad, while Diego added five more markers and a team-leading seven assists.

The match, which will be televised live on Fox Soccer Channel (FSC) with Brian Dunseth and Christopher Sullivan calling the action, is the second major international club side to take on the Red Bulls at their brand new arena and the first European side to take the pitch in the Harrison, NJ facility.  Famed Brazilian side, Santos FC, helped New York christen Red Bull Arena on Saturday, March 20, with the Red Bulls emerging with a 3-1 win in an event that included appearances by Olympic Gold medalist Lindsey Vonn, Super Bowl Champion Reggie Bush, and others.

The Juventus match takes place one day after the first international friendly at Red Bull Arena, featuring Turkey and the Czech Republic.  Fans that attend the Turkey vs. Czech Republic match are invited to stay after the match to watch the UEFA Champions League Final on Fox Sports between Inter Milan and Bayern Munich on the arena’s high definitions scoreboards.
