Since Thierry Henry’s much anticipated and historic arrival to New York, rumors have floated around that a third a third Designated Player was on the way. That rumor is now fact.
The Red Bulls have announced that they will unveil their third Designated Player on August 3 in a press conference to be held at Red Bull Arena.
Although certain names have recently been linked to the move, none has been confirmed.
This new player will join new signee Henry and fellow striker Juan Pablo Angel as one of the team’s designated players.
