Red Bulls teammates to lock horns next week

Dane Richards, Bobby Convey

NEW YORK – Their club season might be over, but New York Red Bulls stalwarts Dane Richards, Bouna Coundoul and Roy Miller have one final game before officially kicking off the offseason.

The threesome will be answering call-ups from their respective national teams for matches taking place on Nov. 17.

Richards, who plays on the right wing, will do battle against left back Miller when Jamaica and Costa Rica meet in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., next Wednesday. While Richards looks to add to his 20 caps, Miller has appeared 17 times for his country.

Coundoul, who is coming off a career high 11 shutouts for RBNY, may not get to go to Florida – but he does have a trip to Paris on the horizon to join the Senegalese national team for a friendly against Gabon. He has just four career caps for the Senegal.
