There are six days left until the ball starts rolling at First Kick, and the countdown continues with some MLS sixes ...

Southern Hemisphere 6: The number of South Americans who have won the MLS MVP award, including the current MVP, Colombian attacker David Ferreira of FC Dallas.

Original 6, Part 1: The number of original teams to have won the MLS Cup (expansion teams Chicago, Houston and Real Salt Lake have each won at least one Cup, while originals New York, New England and Dallas have no Cup wins).

Original 6, Part 2: The number of original teams to have won the Supporters’ Shield (expansion teams Chicago and Miami have each won the Shield, while originals Colorado, Dallas, New York and New England have never brought it home).

Hollywood 6: Appearances by LA Galaxy in the MLS Cup, the most in the league.

Shot-stopping 6: Number of times the MLS Goalkeeper of the Year has brought home either the MLS Cup or Shield.
