Academy players called into US National Team camps

The Red Bulls Academy keeps producing some of the country’s best soccer players at all age levels. The Academy’s successes continue as six members of the Red Bulls Academy have bene called up to two different United States National Team camps.  Four Red Bulls Academy U-14 players were selected to participate in the United States U-15 Boys National Team Camp in Zagreb, Croatia. The camp will last 10 days and will include a pair of friendlies against Croatia on May 10 and May 12.

Two goalkeepers were called into the U.S. U-15 camp, and both come from the Red Bulls Academy. Gianni Carillo of Pine Bush, NY and Evan Louro of South River, NJ will share the keeping duties. Also called up was defender Billy Stevens of New Hyde Park, NY, and forward Wes Wade, a South Orange, NJ resident.

Additionally, the U.S. U-14 National Team will hold a camp this week in Los Angeles. Steven Elias of Rye, NY will head west and is joined by Red Bulls U-14 teammate Malcolm Dixon of Glen Ridge, NJ in the camp.

"These players have all been invited back from previous camps, so they have performed well which is a credit to them,” said U-14 Head Coach Jeff Zaun. “I know every player in the Red Bulls Academy understands what an honor it is to have the opportunity to represent our National Teams.”
