In a recent email to US Men’s National Team supporters, Head Coach Jurgen Klinsmann invited fans to an open practice at Red Bull Arena. The free event will take place on Monday, Oct. 10, from 5-6 p.m. Gates open at 4:30 p.m.

“It will be a fun and educational experience for soccer players, coaches, and fans to watch how the best players from the United States train and prepare for international competition,” Klinsmann wrote in his email. “With all of the support you give our team, we feel it is important to share this experience with you.”

The open practice is in anticipation of the following night’s highly-anticipated matchup between the US and Ecuador, which kicks off from Red Bull Arena at 7 p.m. ET. The first ever US friendly at RBA will also feature the likes of two Red Bulls; forward Juan Agudelo and defender Tim Ream.

“I was excited when I got called in and especially excited because Red Bull Arena is my home,” said Agudelo, who also emphasized the excitement of playing in front of friends and family as a member of the national team.

“For me personally, being able to play in front of the hometown fans would definitely be something special,” Ream said. “I think our fans are some of the best in the league. The South Ward, they bring it every game, and that’s important for the home team.”

The US National Team kicks off its series of friendlies this Saturday, Oct. 8, when they take on Honduras at Sun Life Stadium in Miami, FL. The 6 p.m. broadcast will be available on Fox Soccer and Univision.

Tickets are still available for the Oct. 11 Red Bull Arena match between the US and Ecuador, which will broadcast on ESPN2, ESPN3 and Univision. Skyboxes, which include valet parking passes, premium food, beverage and more, are also available.
