Juan Agudelo Named to US Training Camp Roster

U.S. Men’s National Team head coach Jurgen Klinsmann has named Red Bulls forward Juan Agudelo as one of the 20 players assigned to the national team’s training camp roster. The camp will run from January 3 – 26 in both the U.S. and Panama.

Agudelo and his teammates will be put to the test Jan. 21 when they meet Venezuela for an international friendly at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, AZ. On the 25th, they will play against Panama at the Estadio Rommel Fernandez in Panama City.

"This is a very important opportunity for these players,” Klinsmann said in the official US Soccer release. “They are the next in line behind the established players, and this is a chance to prove themselves. We will spend the next few weeks introducing them to our ideas on how we want to play and what it means to be a part of the National Team. Ultimately, it will create more depth for us, which you need at this level. I’m very curious and excited to see this group.”

The Red Bulls are one of 12 MLS clubs to have a player featured on the training camp roster:
