There are a number of ways for fans to celebrate the start of the Red Bulls’ season when the team kicks off its 2012 campaign on Mar. 11 against FC Dallas, but few top the viewing party experience at the Football Factory.
Fans can join the Red Bulls’ first official viewing party of the new season at the Football Factory at Legends, located at 6 W 33rd St. between 6th and 5th avenues in New York City, to cheer on their team in the first kick of 2012 at 3pm ET. If you plan on attending, RSVP to the event on the Football Factory’s Facebook invite.
Last season, Legends was named the winners of Major League Soccer’s Pubs Viewfest Contest and, in turn, hosted the league’s official viewing party on the day of the title match. Legends was also home to a number of Red Bulls viewing parties last season, including the record-setting event in New York’s 1-0 win over FC Dallas that proved to be the turning point in the team’s strong finish and postseason berth.
Our supporters will be out and about at their usual hang outs practicing their songs in anticipation of the Mar. 25 home opener against the Colorado Rapids as well. Anyone interested in joining a supporters group can find more information here.
Additionally, viewers throughout the country, whether on a bar stool in a pub or lounging on a recliner at home, can watch the first broadcast of an MLS match with the league’s newest partner, NBC.
