Soccer by Ives named Red Bulls goalkeeper Ryan Meara its MLS Rookie of the Month for the month of May.
Meara opened up the month by building off his Apr. 28 shutout against the Revolution with two more clean sheet; one against the Galaxy, and the other against the Dynamo. His three-game shutout streak came to an end in New York's 3-2 win over the Philadelphia Union on May 13, but his perfect streak remains intact after backstopping a win over Montreal and a draw at home against Chivas USA.
