Busy Schedule on Tap at Red Bull Arena

Between the Red Bulls’ three-straight home games and three additional action-packed matches, the month of July is bound to be a busy one at Red Bull Arena. We’ve provided this handy list that breaks down exactly what’s in store for you as we head into the busy part of July.


As always, consider arriving to the Arena early to beat the game-day traffic. You may also consult our Transportation HUB to map out the easiest way to arrive at Red Bull Arena.


July 15 - Red Bulls vs. Sounders (4 PM)

The Red Bulls kick off the first match of a three-game home stand Sunday, July 15, when they host the Seattle Sounders for a 4 PM start on ESPN. Prior to the match, the Red Bull Soundstage will be in full swing, as a number of bands will be on hand to lend their sounds to the pre-match atmosphere. You can check out the list of bands over at RedBullSoundstage.com.


We’ll also announce the first winner of the Prudential Challenge and roll out the second video with the next trick, so make sure you can keep an eye out for that on Facebook, Twitter and the Prudential Challenge page.


July 18 – Red Bulls vs. Fire (1 PM)

Three days later it’s Camp Day, as the Red Bulls kick off at 1 PM as part of a matinee match at Red Bull Arena. If you’re not able to join us or watch the match on MSG+, we have you covered. We’ll provide updates throughout the day on Twitter and Facebook, along with in-game video updates on our blog.


July 21 – Red Bulls vs. Union (2:30 PM)

Closing out the three-game home stand is the ever-budding rivalry between New York and Philadelphia, as the Red Bulls and Union kick things off at 2:30 PM on ESPN. The first 5,000 fans 16 and under will receive a free flat-brimmed Red Bulls hat. As always, fans are encouraged to show up early to avoid automobile and pedestrian traffic. There’s no better way to do that than to hang out in the Interactive Zone out front of the Arena on Riverbend, or stop by the Coors Light Cold Zone for a few beverages before kickoff (21 and over).


July 27 – AS Roma vs. El Salvador (8 PM)

AS Roma and El Salvador square off at Red Bull Arena on Friday, July 27 at 8 PM. The match will be AS Roma’s final tune up on American soil, closing out the Giallorossi’s first-ever US Tour before returning home for their 80th season in Serie A play, Italian soccer’s top division. Roma placed seventh overall in last year’s Serie A standings, led by the likes of striker Francesco Totti ad midfielder Daniele De Rossi.


El Salvador’s national team, led by Uruguayan coach Ruben Israel, is currently in the midst of its 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifying campaign competing in CONCACAF’s Group B with Mexico, Costa Rica and Guyana.

July 28 – Trophee Des Champions – Montpellier vs. Lyon (3 PM)

For the first time in its storied history, the Trophee Des Champions will be hosted on American Soil, as Red Bull Arena plays host to French clubs Montpellier and Lyon on Saturday, July 28. The two sides face off at 3 PM.


July 31 – Red Bulls vs. Tottenham (7 PM)

Last but not least, the highly anticipated friendly match between the New York Red Bulls and Tottenham Hotspur closes out a busy month of action at Red Bull Arena. Season Ticket Holders, who have this match included in their plans as “Event 18 (out of 20),” will also be treated to a special meet and greet, open practice and autograph session with the Spurs.
