The Red Bulls Academy sides were back in action this past weekend after a long break following Hurricane Sandy.

The U-13, pre-Academy side defeated South Central in blow-out fashion Saturday afternoon, as Jake Silverstein’s four-goal, one-assist day led the way in front of Anes Mrkulic’s hat trick and one-goal performances from several others.

The U-14s cruised to a 3-0 victory over South Central thanks to goals from Markez Zalla, Noah Powder and Ryan Mingachos.
Red Bulls Academy product Jose Abadallah tallied five goals on the day as the U-15s shut out South Central, 14-0. The Red Bulls took a strong 3-0 start into the half before hitting the accelerator in the second to lock up the ‘W’ and seal the clean sheet.
Three goals from Alex Tejera and two from Harrison Steadman helped power the U-16 Red Bulls to victory over South Central at Red Bull Arena Sunday afternoon. Alec Gogic earned the shutout in goal as the team improved to an unbeaten 6-0-1 on the year.
Playing on the pitch at Red Bull Arena, the U-18 Red Bulls tied South Central 1-1 thanks to a goal from Bryan Mora in the 38th minute. The New York side saw a number of chances created, courtesy of Kyle Goowin and Eric Sugarman, but only found the back of the net once to remain unbeaten with a record of 5-0-2.
