The New York Red Bulls Academy sides posted yet another undefeated record this past weekend thanks to three shutouts and one comeback win.

In U-13 action, the Red Bulls left Connecticut winners Saturday afternoon after defeating Oakwood 1-0. Despite a number of chances throughout, it was Brandon Haughton who helped power New York to victory after he slotted home the game-winner off a clean pass from Zach Ryan.

Dante Greer registered the lone goal for the U-14s as they went on to defeat Oakwood 1-0 Saturday afternoon. The Red Bulls were relentless in the victory, pressuring and testing Oakwood’s backline throughout the entire match. It looked as if Oakwood was up to the task of shutting down the Red Bulls when both sides entered the half locked in a scoreless draw, but New York finally hit pay dirt in the second half to lock up the win.

In U-16 action, the Red Bulls rallied back from an early deficit against Oakwood to remain undefeated on the season. New York entered the second half trailing 1-0, but received goals from Anthony Viteri off a long-range volley, Derrick Etienne on a great set up from Alex Tejera, and Steve Echevarria, who sent home an Etienne corner kick to seal the win.

The U-18s recorded a convincing 2-0 win over Oakwood Saturday night thanks to strong goalkeeping from Joe Ohaus, who picked up his second shutout of the season, and the high-octane offense led by Alex Muyl and Izzy Tandir.

New York wasted little time getting on the scoreboard when Muyl buried his sixth of the season in the eighth minute off a setup from Tandir and Adam Najem. The Red Bulls doubled up in the 35th minute when Tandir drilled a penalty kick into the netting for his eighth goal of the season. From there, New York locked down defensively with Torben Halvorsen, Kaz Boschen, Evens Saint Jean and Arus Basuljevic manning the back line to secure the clean sheet.
