Two Fabian Espindola attempts off the crossbar, a number of Thierry Henry shots, a good look from Tim Cahill, and a last-minute header from Brandon Barklage highlighted New York's chances Saturday afternoon against D.C. United, but unfortunately not a single one found the netting in what amounted to a 0-0 draw at Red Bull Arena.

On the other side of the pitch, Luis Robles stepped up big to make a point-blank save on D.C.'s Chris Pontius, but remained relatively untested for a majority of the match.

New York returns to action next Saturday when they travel to Montreal to take on the Impact for a 4:30pm kickoff on MSG.
