Make that five more wins for the Red Bulls Academy after a strong outing in Boston this past weekend saw New York outscore opponents by a combined 25-5.

The ’99 pre-Academy Red Bulls won Sunday against the FC Bolts after Zach Ryan’s opening goal was padded by another two from Jake Silverstein to give New York a 3-0 lead heading into the half. The squad didn’t let up one bit in the second half, as additional tallies were supplied by Alex Clarke, Ben Silverstein, Brandon Haughton and another from Ryan.

In U-14 action, the Red Bulls defeated the Boston Bolts in shutout fashion, winning 5-0 Sunday afternoon. Five different scorers landed on the score sheet after Dantea Greer, Matt Olosunde, Markez Zalla, Giancarlo Stigliano and Luis Kaba each picked up a goal to push the team’s overall record to 17-1-1.

The Red Bulls’ U-15 side cruised to a 6-2 win over the Bolts after Ethan Lochner scored the first of his three goals with a strong header that found its way into the netting less than two minutes into the match. Jose Huerta, Malkin Stewart and Kyle Zajec rounded out the scoring in the blow-out win.

Derrick Etienne scored two and set up one for the U-16 Red Bulls, as they posted a solid 3-1 win over the Boston Bolts on a cold day in Newton, MA. Brandon Tetro registered the third goal, while Henry Martin and Kevin Politz established a strong defensive stance to help solidify the win.

Finally, the U-18 Red Bulls picked up a 4-2 win over FC Bolts Celter Saturday afternoon to remain undefeated on the season. Adam Najem scored his first in the 27th minute, but soon saw his tally canceled out eight minutes later when the Bolts leveled the score on a goal from Nathan Pomeroy. The Bolts would take the lead heading into half time, when Alex Ainscough scored the go-ahead goal in the 45th minute. But New York rallied back for the ‘W,’ starting with a Bolts Own Goal in the 63rd minute to tie the score. Four minutes later, it was Kaz Boschen finding the net on an assist from Alex Muyl, and Izzy Tandir piling on the insurance marker in the 80th minute to close out the win.
