Red Bulls forward Thierry Henry, midfielder Dax McCarty, and defender Jamison Olave were named to MLSsoccer.com's Team of the Week for their play in Saturday's 2-0 win over D.C. United.

Henry, who registered his second goal of the season when he beat D.C. 'keeper Bill Hamid in the 29th minute, earns the honor after making his return to the Red Bulls' starting lineup following an MCL sprain that kept him out of the eighteen against Montreal, and as a bench option for the two previous weeks vs. Philadelphia and Chicago. MLSsoccer.com had the following to say about his return:

"Put in a superb offensive performance for the Red Bulls in D.C. – was involved in nearly every New York attack and scored an excellent curling shot."

McCarty makes his debut on the MLS Starting XI after his play in the midfield disrupted D.C.'s rhythm and also added an assist to Henry's tally.

And finally, who can look past Olave? The physical defender has locked down defensively and even shown a spark on offense after recording his third goal of the season against D.C. United (tying his previous single-season career highs in 2009 and 2010). According to MLSsoccer.com:

"Dominant on the defensive side of the ball in New York’s 2-0 win over D.C. United and added the all-important second with his thigh while continuing to show off his great instincts attacking set pieces."

Not a bad outing by any means for the Red Bulls in this week's MLS Starting XI. What's your take?
