Vote for Save of the Week: Week 21

Week 17 MLS Save of the Week winner Luis Robles is up for the title again, this time for his one-handed save on Toronto FC's Richard Eckersley.

Robles' highlight save came during the 73rd minute of play in Saturday's match. After a long ball found its way to the foot of Eckersley, the defender sprinted down the wing, slipped inside the 18 yard box and unleashed a shot on goal. Although Red Bulls defender Markus Holgersson was positioned well to get a piece of the shot, it almost proved disastrous for his side when the ball redirected its way toward the goal. Robles had his eye on the deflection while already leaving for the save, and adjusted mid air to place one hand on the ball and send it over the crossbar.

The stop not only garnered Save of the Week consideration, but also played a pivotal role in New York salvaging one point on the road in the 0-0 draw.

Cast your votes for Robles now and help him take home a second Save of the Week title! Voting runs until 11:59 pm PT on Thursday.
