The fastest goal in MLS history was also voted this week's best in MLS. But just barely.

Tim Cahill's record-setting, eight-second, game-winning strike in the Red Bulls' 3-0 victory over Houston last Sunday was voted MLSSoccer.com's Week 34 AT&T Goal of the Week, narrowly edging out Gabriel Torres' gorgeous shot in the Colorado Rapids' 3-2 win over the Vancouver Whitecaps. Cahill earned earned exactly half a percentage point more than Torres, claiming 39.47 percent of the vote.

Cahill joins fellow Designated Player Thierry Henry as Red Bulls players to claim the Goal of the Week award this season. Henry took home the honors back in Weeks 5 and 11.
