As we reflect upon our 20th MLS season, NewYorkRedBulls.com reviews the Best XI saves of the Red Bulls’ 2015 regular season campaign.
Luis Robles’ key save in the 77th minute against D.C. United maintained a clean sheet for New York in their first win of the 2015 season. Nursing a two-goal lead, D.C. pushed forward in an effort to pull one back. Taylor Kemp whipped in a cross from the left side which Chris Rolfe lunged for with his outstretched leg. Rolfe directed the shot on goal and Robles made a quick reaction save from point-blank range to keep out the effort. The Red Bulls went on to win, 2-0, and Robles earned his first shutout of the year.
