USL MATCH PREVIEW: NYRB II travel to Harrisburg

HARRISON, N.J. (September 6, 2016) – New York Red Bulls II travel to Millersville, Pa., tomorrow night to take on the Harrisburg City Islanders on the campus of Millersville University. Kickoff is scheduled for 4 p.m., with a live stream provided by Harrisburg.

NYRB II to 18-3-5 on the season, six points clear of second place Louisville City FC with one game in hand.

NYRB II enters looking to extend the winning streak to seven games. NYRB II has run off six straight since dropping back-to-back contests, two of just three losses this season, in late July. NYRB II snapped the losing streak with a 5-0 win at Harrisburg on August 2, also a Tuesday matchup.

Brandon Allen got the game-winner at Bethlehem Steel FC over the weekend his team-leading 13th of the season. Derrick Etienne Jr. added the second goal.

Rafael Diaz recorded the shutout, the team’s fourth-straight clean sheet. NYRB II has 15 shutouts this season, just two shy of the league record.
