WATCH: Charleston Battery vs. NYRB II

NYRB II is 20-3-6 on the season, seven points clear of second place Louisville City FC with one game left. That said, they have clinched the USL Regular Season Title, while breaking multiple records along the way. Some records include most points, wins, and goals in a single season.

NYRB II are looking to extend their unbeaten streak to nine games, with eight victories in those nine games. They are coming off a 4-0 home victory over FC Montreal.  New York is looking to avenge one of only three losses this season, as they lost to Charleston at home 2-3 in their only previous matchup. The Red Bulls II are 12-1-2 this season on the road, another USL record.

The Charleston Battery come into the game sitting at fifth in the eastern conference standings, with a record of 13-7-9. They hold a 2-2-1 record in their last five games. Romario Williams, Maikel Chang, and Justin Portillo lead the Battery attack with 22 goals and 11 assists combined on the season. This game can have a large impact on the conference seeding, as Charleston can finish between fourth and seventh place depending on this weekend’s results.

After this game, the USL Playoffs will begin. The Red Bulls have clinched a home game to open the playoffs at Red Bull Arena.  Click here for more information and to purchase your playoff tickets.
