NOW PLAYING: Seeing Red #275

Jesse Marsch

Finally, the playoffs are here!

On the regular season finale, Mark and Eric go inside the 2-0 win over the Philadelphia Union, just New York’s third road win all year. A record-setting day sees Bradley Wright-Phillips take home the Golden Boot after notching his 24th goal and Sacha Kljestan joins some elite company, bagging his 20th assist on the day. Riding a 20-game unbeaten streak over all competitions, how will the team translate their momentum into the playoffs?

To answer that and more, head coach Jesse Marsch joins the show ahead of his side’s playoff opener on Sunday. The gaffer gives his thoughts on how this team is different from last year’s Supporters’ Shield winning side, the lessons learned from last year’s playoff run, and his thoughts on challenges presented by both of New York’s possible opponents, Montreal and D.C.
