  • It was the first time in the last nine regular-season matchups between New York and Columbus that one team was held without a goal.

  • The Red Bulls have stretched their unbeaten streak at Red Bull Arena to 18 consecutive matches (15-0-3). During the stretch, the Red Bulls have tallied 12 clean sheets.

  • New York continues to support the best home record, with the most home wins and points, in MLS since Red Bull Arena opened in 2010. The Red Bulls own a 78-24-19 overall mark with 253 points.

  • Muyl opened the scoring for the second consecutive week. Sacha Kljestan began the run into the 18-yard box and sent a pass towards the end-line for Kemar Lawrence, who sent a low cross into Columbus’ six-yard box for Muyl to redirect in the 11th minute.

  • Muyl has goals in back-to-back matches, tying his season total from 2016.

  • Muyl’s goal is the fastest scored by New York this year. Bradley Wright-Phillips previously scored in the 13th minute on the road against Houston on April 1.

  • It is the first assist of the season for Lawrence.

  • With the secondary assist on Muyl’s goal, Kljestan became the club’s all-time leader in game-winning assists with his 12th, surpassing Thierry Henry.

  • Kljestan has tallied an assist in three of the last four matches.

  • Danny Royer doubled the lead from the penalty spot in the 38th minute. Royer converted for his second of the season after Bradley Wright-Phillips was taken down in the box.

  • The goal was also Royer’s second of the season, surpassing his total from last season. Royer joined the Red Bulls in August of 2016.

  • Following his two-save clean sheet at Red Bull Arena, Luis Robles has blanked 29 opponents at home during the regular season, including four-straight at home in 2017.

  • For the first time in franchise history, five Homegrown players made an appearance in the same match. Muyl, Tyler Adams and Connor Lade started for the Red Bulls and Sean Davis and Derrick Etienne came off the bench.

  • New York is now 39-34-20 all-time in the month of April and 5-6-3 in April under head coach Jesse Marsch.
