The New York Red Bulls earned their third consecutive road victory, defeating Minnesota United FC, 3-0, on Saturday at TCF Bank Stadium.

“It’s clear that we’re in a good way. We’ve been playing quite well,” Head Coach Jesse Marsch said after the game. “We’ve been getting good performances from a lot of different guys. So yeah, I feel like the team has come together.”

The Red Bulls have now won five games in a row, including matches in the 2017 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup, and eight of 10 across all competitions.

“We went through some tough early season struggles and it really built character into our group,” Marsch said. “I think about resiliency, and in those moments, we always challenge ourselves and each other to grow, and to commit to things and know that through the work, we’re going get ourselves into a better place. We’ve done that.”

The Red Bulls are now 10-8-2 on the season, with 32 points.

New York captured six points in a week, beating the San Jose Earthquakes 5-1 in a midweek game at Red Bull Arena, before their 3-0 road win against Minnesota on the weekend.

“You’re starting to see like a lot this time of year, that our fitness comes together, our sharpness comes together, our clarity and tactics come together, we have room to make some additions, so we’re going to get better. We’re going to get better,” Marsch said.

But, as always, there’s a greater goal to strive toward.

“Like I always say, it’s a broken record, the works not done,” Marsch said. “We’ve got a long way to go, but right now, we’re in a good way."
