The New York Red Bulls take on Sporting KC in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup Final at Children’s Mercy Park on Wednesday, September 20, at 9 p.m. ET (TV: ESPN 2, STREAM: Watch ESPN, RADIO: New York Red Bulls Radio on Tunein).

Here are some numbers to know ahead of the final:

1: One more! After downing NYCFC, Philadelphia Union, New England Revolution and FC Cincinnati, the Red Bulls can clinch their first U.S. Open Cup championship with a win on Wednesday.

2: This is the second appearance for the franchise in the U.S. Open Cup Final. The 2003 MetroStars were the club’s only other finalists. The MetroStars fell to the Chicago Fire at Giants Stadium, 1-0.

3: Bradley Wright-Phillips, New York’s all-time leading scorer, has totaled three goals in his last two Open Cup games. He scored the game winner against the New England Revolution in the Quarterfinals and FC Cincinnati in extra time.

3-0: Goalkeeper Ryan Meara is a perfect 3-0 in his professional career in penalty-kick shootouts. Meara lifted New York Red Bulls II to victory in two 2016 USL Playoff games, and made the game-winning save against Philadelphia in the 2017 Open Cup Quarterfinals.

5: Head coach Jesse Marsch, assistant Chris Armas and Sporting Director Denis Hamlett are hoping to clinch the fifth U.S. Open Cup title of their careers with a win on Wednesday. Marsch (1 D.C., 3 CHI), Armas (4 CHI), and Hamlett (4 CHI) won three Open Cup tournaments together with the Fire. Marsch and Armas played for the Fire, while Hamlett served as the team’s assistant coach.
