New York Red Bulls midfielder Tyler Adams has been named No. 10 in MLS’ 2017 Edition of 24 Under 24, a series which identifies the best 24 players under the age of 24.

This is the 18-year-old Homegrown Player’s first appearance on the MLS 24 Under 24 list.

“Tyler Adams, amazing. Gets better every game, growing every game,” Head Coach Jesse Marsch said after New York’s September 27 match against D.C. United in which Adams scored a brace. “What a pleasure to watch him. What a pleasure to coach him. Big-time player, amazing, amazing.”

Adams has played 20 MLS games for the Red Bulls, including 19 starts. He’s played 1693 MLS minutes and tallied two goals and one assist.

The midfielder also started and played all five 2017 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup matches this season, including the Open Cup Final.

A blossoming U.S. international, Adams has represented the United States at various youth levels including the 2017 FIFA U-20 World Cup and 2015 FIFA U-17 World Cup.
