The New York Red Bulls have officially punched their ticket to the 2017 Audi MLS Cup Playoffs.

New York defeated Vancouver Whitecaps FC at Red Bull Arena, 3-0, on Saturday, October 7.
The Red Bulls qualified for the playoffs for the eighth straight season.
No other team in the New York Metro Area has made the playoffs every year for the last seven seasons.
New York’s streak is the second longest active playoff streak behind Seattle Sounders FC (9).
This year’s playoff berth ties for the third longest streak all-time behind LA Galaxy (10) and Seattle.
The club has reached the postseason 14 of the last 15 seasons.
As it stands, the Red Bulls are in sixth place of the Eastern Conference and will start on the road in the Knockout Round of the 2017 Audi MLS Cup Playoffs.
