The New York Red Bulls head into their third Knockout Round match in club history against the Chicago Fire on Wednesday, October 25.


Kickoff is set for 8:30 p.m. ET with coverage on FS1, UniMas, and New York Red Bulls Radio on Tunein in English and Spanish.

In the first Wild Card match of the 2011 MLS Cup Playoffs, Joel Lindpere scored the winner midway through in the second half, guiding home a low cross from Mehdi Ballouchy to seal New York’s ticket to the playoffs proper.





Thierry Henry tallied the insurance goal in stoppage time to ensure the win.


Red Bulls right back Jan Gunnar Solli saw a straight red card in the 79th minute after a hard foul from behind on Dallas captain Daniel Hernandez, but New York held on for the victory.

A spirited comeback effort by the New York Red Bulls dumped the defending MLS Cup champions, Sporting Kansas City, out of the 2014 MLS Cup Playoffs, after a 2-1 win at Red Bull Arena.







The league's leading scorers in the regular season, Dom Dwyer and Bradley Wright-Phillips, traded goals in the second half, before Wright-Phillips' second of the night – a header in the 90th minute – gave the Red Bulls the win and helped them move on in the MLS Cup Playoffs for the first time since 2011.
