The New York Red Bulls will switch things up a bit and deploy Gonzalo Veron in the team's Starting XI against Toronto FC on Sunday afternoon.

Veron has scored in five of the last seven matches, tallying two penalty kicks coming off the bench and three goals in the run of play, which were against Toronto and D.C. United.

Veron will lead the attack, with Bradley Wright-Phillips pushing up high.

Wright-Phillips has shined the brightest when playing on either FOX or FS1. In 21 matches played on either FOX or FS1, Wright-Phillips has tallied 17 goals and four assists.

Behind them will see Sacha Kljestan, Daniel Royer, Tyler Adams and Felipe in a midfield formation.

Royer remained perfect in penalty kicks as he tallied his fifth overall this season and first career MLS playoff PK against Toronto in the first leg of the semifinals to level the match.

The back line will see Michael Amir Murillo, Damien Perrinelle, Aaron Long and Kemar Lawrence as four across the back.

Luis Robles will start in goal.

New York is 11-1-4 when scoring first this season. The Red Bulls were 13-1-8 when scoring first in 2016, including an 10-0-1 mark when scoring first at home.

The bench will have Ryan Meara, Sean Davis, Derrick Etienne, Jr., Alex Muyl, Vincent Bezecourt, Fidel Escobar and Connor Lade available to sub in as needed.

The Red Bulls are 1-3-3 all-time when losing the first leg of a two-legged series. New York has yet to advance to the next round of the playoffs after a loss in the first leg in franchise history.
