Peter Stroud starts for U-17 U.S. Men’s National Team vs. England

New York Red Bulls academy player Peter Stroud started and played 74 minutes for the U-17 USMNT’s 1-0 loss to England in Lakewood Ranch, Florida.


Stroud, a native of Chester, N.J., played in midfield for the United States in the opening match of the 2017 Nike International Friendlies tournament.


England scored a late winner in the 81st minute to win the match.



Next up for Stroud and the Americans will be the Netherlands on Friday, December 1 at 7 p.m. ET. All matches can be watched live on ussoccer.com.
